♥ Dean and Colette ♥

I had a really great start to 2013 with a wedding in Colette and Dean's home with their three beautiful children. The one picture that looks like snow in the background is actually a lake. They were going to have their wedding outside, but it had been raining one and off all day.

Dean and Colette wanted to have their children involved in the wedding so they had a sand ceremony. There was a vase with five different containers of sand. Colette and Dale poured their sand first into the vase while the children watch, then then the children poured in their sand. The same individual sand that was there a few moments ago has not changed, it has been combined to create something bigger and more beautiful than it was. Just as the grans of sand can never be separated again, they as a family are not longer to be separated from one another.

I received a thank you card from them. The card reads:

"Thank you, we are so grateful for your generosity and thank you for sharing in our joy. We appreciate it.!! Dale and Colette w/Hunter, Ryder and Stayker."
